Interim Golf Course Superintendents
David Waymire has hit every mark in his career as a golf and country club golf course superintendent. He earned his Turf Grass Management Certificate from Penn State. He earned his certification as a Certified Golf Course Superintendent 29 years ago and has held every skilled and management position in the field. As the Senior Vice-President of Agronomy for one of the largest owned and managed golf and country club companies in the United States for many years, he knows and understands the business of golf course maintenance and leadership. In 2019 he received the Leo Feser Award for Best Superintendent Published Article in Golf Course Management Magazine, “The 10 Commandments of Successful Superintendents.”
